Yes, the intractable Cheney problem! I've read up on impeachment, and it's really unclear that "high crimes and misdemeanors" were even considered the necessary criteria. Several of the founders seemed to think that simple incompetence was all that was required, and thought that the situation would arise in the future. It would be good to impeach Bush for simple incompetent leadership. MAKE the buck stop at his desk. Tell all future Presidents that incompetence will not be tolerated. It would be a good thing, for both parties.
