I have enough personal experience that says online is not representative at least 15 % of the time, I would agree with this, there are always people that mis represent themselves or hide or misdirect people. For the most part though, I think the majority of us don't do this or if we do are not very good at it long term - I still seem to meet more than my share of chicks in real life that are fatter or older than the pics they send me online - hehe. But the person I meet in real life - personality wise is not all that different than what I expected to meet based on online talking. I have been fooled though more than I would want to admit - hehe. Sometimes people will be posting very different things in closed forums, BTW. True, didn't chris matthews just recently say when he interviews these people on the air they say one thing - but once you turn off the cameras he says they say all what they just said was BS - hehe. Jay could be a hired tobago assassin with ties to communist or muslim political interests with plans to topple the free world and is very good at hiding it with his great charm and humor - if so - why waste time here? hehe We did have a family man with 3 daughters and well liked just kill a little girl here in florida - and online we had people like tony@pacific with ulterior motives - and some of us thought he was looking out for the little guy - but I think that is a very small minority of most people. Of course we have the ultimate international man of mystery - hehe - greenspan - "I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you heard is not what I meant." So their total postings may represent them well, but few people will see all of them. True - lincoln said you cant fool all the people all the time though eh? I don't know that I necessarily believe that - hehe. Most people thought the earth was flat for a long time didn't they?
