The question isn't "what is providing good paying jobs now"...it's what sort of investment will provide good paying jobs over the next quarter century and beyond. Trust me, it isn't building more McMansions.......not in the US anyway, maybe in China...

There must be some weird reason that experienced HVAC technicians and plumbers are being offered signing bonuses of $1,000 or $1,500 in those ads, locally. Could it be that some good-paying job opportunities actually exist out there?

Of course they exist
As long as housing stays strong.
It should not take much imagination to figure that out either.

Then again, I suppose you imagine housing is in the first inning.
