re: No wonder there is such a seething hatred for neo-conservatives, because if you think about it, neocons are the direct antithesis of the liberal establishment. For better or for worse, I might add.

You love that "seething hatred" stuff, don't you.

Neocons ARE liberals. They are an outgrowth of the "liberal establishment", with a huge nation building bias.

Neocons have nothing to do with conservatives.

Taro, The true liberal people are certainly not those "libs" and other socialists. Those are the prudies pure.

I'm not sure what a "true liberal" is, since these days it's all about the "liberal establishment," which sounds like an oxymoron but is unfortunately the truth.

Is "liberal establishment" an oxymoron because Z has been aptly calling "neocon logic" an oxymoron?

No wonder there is such a seething hatred for neo-conservatives, because if you think about it, neocons are the direct antithesis of the liberal establishment.

There are a whole host of other reasons before the one you cited. You need to do better homework. ;~)

Good observation, very true and quite sad.
