Your response has nothing to do with my point-- which is that his comments about her being alone because men won't find her attractive were not medical in nature. People-especially women-- are quite aware of the aesthetic facts of obesity- his job was to tell her how it was affecting her health. Do I think she overreacted? Based on what we know so far, yes. She should have told him he had a big mouth, would probably die alone, and found another doctor.
