Interesting question. Well, maybe not. I don't know the answer. I would have used a question mark here on SI. It's instinctive. For a venue where someone might care, I'd restructure the sentence.

Not really very much like that.

I was comparing them on a different criterion, just one, the one I stated, which is that they all have in common that their jobs were all in jeopardy due to some decision they made post incident. Whether or not they have anything else in common is neither here nor there.
