After all, Bangladesh was part of British India, just like the rest and not that long ago. And lots of the folks in Bangladesh lived on the Indian side of the border pre-partition and were simply jerked up and placed in East Pakistan as many Hindus were likewise uprooted and sent into India. I think there are all sorts of programs in place in an attempt to compensate for the forced removal, are there not?

Maurice contends that there is this vast ongoing racial mixing around the globe and I contend that there is not. As Indians and Bangladesh folk are really fellow countrymen anyway, that wouldn't have much bearing on the point of the discussion.
