I think the chaos that's been reigning after his absence show just how good a job Saddam was doing ruling Iraq. Don't get me wrong, he was a brutal, viscious dictator. But perhaps that what it takes to keep Iraq as one federal state? Maybe we're making a huge mistake keeping it from becoming the three states it seems to want to naturally become?
