I agree with some of what George Will said re the Democratic party. There is a huge self-destructive urge somehow, and not enough good leaders. I also understand why Bush decided not to meet with Cindy Sheehan. However, none of this is about the mess in Iraq and how best to solve it now. I think more energy needs to be spent on that, and that Cindy Sheehan should become a footnote to a more articulate anti-war movement.
