eu, I don't think Victor will stop selling to the United States any more than I will turn down nubile young women. But he could make the oil companies and other exploiters pay their fair share, and that will make them very angry. Bush tried to coup d'etat Sanchez right after the election and it was totally obvious to everyone in Latin America who was behind the coup. Not as obvious to we Americans, who have our news filtered through rose colored glasses. So, we've been hostile and remain hostile, which helps make the wildly popular President of Venezuela even more wildly popular. But it's a tough choice. Either kowtow to Bush and sell out your country or resist him and expect sudden death at any time.

I suspect someone is squirreling oil away for diversion of funds to private bank accounts. Also, the Chinese could be storing offshore the quantity they will need to fill their strategic petroleum reserve. And, we could be hiding a stash to tide us over (America is the third largest oil producer in the world) when we simultaneously invade Iran and Venezuela.

The shipping cos. are interesting. I thought FROs were hairdos. <G>

Everyone at my firm is bearish on oil because of high production and low demand. I'm paying $2.56 a gallon and there's no demand?
