I don't think it makes sense to interpret them in the light of the Roberts' nomination as Greenhouse does. JohnMs' comment are very interesting. Is the liberal bias to assume the untoward until proven otherwise so clearly on display. Or is the American value of assuming duty will prevail over desire not to be given a perceived political enemy unless proven otherwise on display. What mindset does JohnM reveal? I would normally think JohnM would be as non judgemental as I, but the evidence of nuance and implication found always in his posts has my believing a different liklihood.
