Teddy turns out to have been right about Iraq and a lot more. And so what if he drinks, Bush was an alcoholic for 20 years and you worship the guy. As for Chappaquiddick, it was terrible but why do you give Laura Bush a pass on killing her ex-boyfriend by slamming into him with her car in broad daylight?

This thread reeks of dishonest double standards.

Laura Bush's vehicular manslaughter case is given a pass by the rightwing, while they demonize Kennedy for Chappaquiddick. There is no difference in terms of wrong-doing. Both were terrible accidents.
