Ted, What's the difference between a full hybrid and Honda?

The Honda Accord is a partial hybrid in that the electric motor can't power the car alone. Instead, all it does is lighten the load for the V6 gas engine. Or in the case of the Accord, it can also add a small boost to power.

I forget whether the Civic Hybrid is also a partial hybrid, but I do know the Insight, like the Toyota Prius, is a full hybrid.

By the way, there are also "hybrids" in the works where all the electic motor does is start up the engine. This cuts down on gas wasted (and emissions spewed) while idling in rush-hour traffic. The gas savings are miniscule, but it might be worth it especially when rush-hour is more like "rush-three-hours" these days.
