The religious right has completely discredited itself. From Robertson's wildly dishonest statement about taking out Chavez (calling him a dictator when he was more fairly elected than Bush) to the Terri Schiavo debacle to throwing people who don't vote for Bush out of churches, this BS has got to go.

The founding fathers wanted church nowhere near government or public institutions, and they wanted this for a very good reason. The religious right in fact share many views with the Taliban. Religious extrtemists of all types (as well as greedy corporate gougers, polluters and war profiteers) are at the heart of most of our problems these days.
