Well, maybe God is a Republican, Hurricane Katrina was making a BEELINE right for my home, at the LAST MOMENT it suddently veered S.W. and came ashore much further South in Hollywood, Fla. (Democrat area (gg)). Being on the north side of the hurricane allowed us SO FAR to have far less rain (I was really more worried about flooding then the wind). Even so there was enough wind to create a nice mess to clean up later today. So far, I have heard of 2 deaths, both created by falling trees. One was a Ficus tree landing on two cars the second a big limb hitting a man on the head who went outside to look around at potential damage. Last year I had a tree land RIGHT in my front door, had to CHOP my way out of the house. jdn
