You cannot make that argument about WWII (that it's somehow the "same" as Iraq)- if you are sticking to international law, and interfering when other countries are invaded. A crucial difference between WWII and Iraq is that Iraq had not invaded anyone. The only people we were liberating Iraq from were Iraqis. Quite a large difference from Hitler taking over other countries in Europe. Easy to make a case for stopping Hitler once he invaded another country, impossible to make a legitimate case for the US invading Iraq for 9/11, imaginary WMD's or "regime change".

And BTW we love China, and they brutally took over Tibet. Still, we love those Chinese goods, don't we?
