they are developing Longhorn/Vista offshore and that is why there is absolutely NO buzz about it. Zero. Its a complicated thing, what makes tech companies buzzworthy but without buzz, there isn't much core demand. I doubt Longhorn is a major success, maybe a moderate success but thats it.

Yep, we had the india folks at IBM in RTP - they came and got all the knowledge, then they fired all the americans, send all the indians back home to india where it was much cheaper to employ them and the stock went UP! hehe
