So Ms. Sheehan brought the truth, the sham of the Iraq war to the forefront of the mainstream media.. The MSM needs a FOCAL point.. To get the masses attention.. Like a missing white male or female, or a grieving mother :( .. And if anyone that doesn't see that simple issue or lesson.. I am sorry for them.. For they will never catch on..

And I have a few comments here; First, I can not understand why ANYONE that is against the war can NOT accept Cindy Sheehan as a spokesperson for the movement, as a representative. as a symbol, etc. She is NOT being used.. She is NOT using.. She has behaved impeccably under the MOST TRYING circumstances. Being under the microscope and in a fish bowl, yes both, of the rw sleaze and slime machine.. How would any of you in her position reacted better? NONE here that I can see. Every word of hers is scrutinized by the rw s&s machine... And if they don't find something to trash her with, they pull some crap out of their butt.. (to put it nicely) I first seen her on TV last spring and she hasn't basically changed her story one bit.. Even the ones against the war, find something wrong with her. I can't believe it. Are they jealous? Have they not walked a foot in her shoes. Under the pressure she has undergone.. I doubt it.. Our society needs an icon to rally around. Whether it is for brides, biking or baseball, we can't seem to grasp the idea of an issue WITHOUT a person. We are too shallow, unfortunately to DO that....So she fills the bill perfectly... And Cindy as representative for ME and other true peace-loving people has worked.. Just check out the correlation between her coming on the scene and the RISE in OPPOSITION to the war. Just check it out.. Find your own goddamn links, if you need them. I don't.. I only need my own common sense. Off topic of this.. I believe if someone attacks or belittles a post, they are doing the same to the poster. Because a "HAL" didn't write the post... And I can not separate "the post from the poster" For the words from me, mean me, they are not cheap... Maybe it does for others, I don't know.. But one thing, I do know, I am honest and only write what I feel....

Seems it's from a guy named Doug Thompson of Capitolhillblue.com, and reposted on smirkingchimp.com Message 21642631 Great unbiased news source there coug. Keep up the good work. What's next?
