What will Northern Europe do when the Gulf Stream shuts down? They are totally unequiped to deal with a climate that is less than benign. Their immediate future does not include this. Don't even talk about the closing down of the Gulf Stream...that would turn Europe into an eskimo village. But you're right about their weather. There is a reason why they can get away with not showering every day in the summer. They would laugh at me for doing so until they came over here for a visit and found themselves doing the same thing. <g>
