When/if we have to deal with the Al-Mahdi army, it will make our struggle with Al-Quaida look like a kindergardener’s camp.

Did the Americans know about this man before the US military went into Iraq. Was the Al-Mahdi army causing any problems for the US? From what you said it is clear that the army was thorn in Saddam's side and that Saddam had kept this army under control.

Now because of Bush's policies, the problem is now a US problem. Also, there are now two violent groups targeting the US: Al Qaeda and Al Mahdi. That is what I read as what you said.

As stated, there is no proof yet that Zarqawi exists. He may be a construct to replace the last two Bush-Cheney boogey men, Osama (who they mysteriously let escape) and Saddam (whom they branded a mass murderer for acts committed mainly during the Reagan years when Saddam was our ally and Rumsfvield was helping to arm him). Cheney claimed Zarqawi had a leg amputated in Baghdad in 2002. Never happened. Or if it sis, it's not the same Zarqawi they're talking about now who can leap out of speeding cars and lop off heads on two good legs.
