If those of you in southern FLorida feel anguish can you imagine how the people in the Pensacola area must feel?

I heard that the suicide rate in the Panhandle was escalating...................and that was a couple months ago!

Those people have to feel a bit desparate about now with another one of those monsters breathing down their neck.

My parents in southern WPB went twelve days without power after Frances, never lost power with this storm. They said the wind only got up to around 40 mph where they were.

2:00pm update says hurricane force winds only extend 25 miles from the center, pretty compact storm.
