still just an accident akin to Laura Bush's mowing down her ex-boyfriend in her car Was Laura Bush a prominent politician? Was she married? Was she going to the beach to cheat on her spouse and have sex with a campaign worker? Did she leave the victim to die? Did she fail to report the accident? Did she try to cover it up? Was she charged with a crime? There is no comparison between Chappaquidick and most other accidents. It stands alone.
