get a copy of microsoft virtual earth (the microsoft copy of the Google earth product), you can download it on MSN.com For some reason that I can't figure out AT ALL, they use aerial photos from the 70s for MVE. This has been a PR nightmare for them because the world trade center is still there. But anyway hunting around silicon valley and Las Vegas is a hoot. You can see the valley and Berkeley in all its glory when cops were called "the fuzz" and Angela Davis and Patty Hearst were the big stories here.
