OT: I had nothing to do with that poster being banned. I'm not sure why he referenced me in his post. I suppose someone can ask Mish why he was banned .... or just read the individual's posts and probably figure it out ... I really don't care. I admit I like Krugman. He is one of the most brilliant economists of our times - like Robert Barro or Bruce Bartlett on the right - two more economists I respect. Krugman has became shrill in his criticism of the Bush Administration, but his economics are still solid - and he corrects any mistakes he makes! Even the very conservative Washington Times just came to Krugman's defense: The facts on wage trends washtimes.com Maybe everyone should take a deep breathe ... that Krugman post was on Krugman's commentary about why the polls show people's perception of the economy is so poor, even while the headline numbers are decent - an excellent topic for Mish's thread.
