Everything I am reading tells me that he is "Castro in 1950." Doing what he can to convert the culture over to a communist/socialist one. Imprisoning political dissidents, etc. And arming the criminal class to help him do it. And using his oil money to subvert other governments around him.

The problem down there is that when the right wing gets in they are totally corrupt and spend their time looting the place. No good solution.
