In that I have heard Robertson apologise for his comments and I think deny them and make what seemed a weird claim he had been mis-quoted, I believe Robertson slipped up and he knows it and is doing a very bad job of undoing what he let slip.

Which is to say I think your opinion is just about totally bogus.

In any case, I have substantially lowered my opinion of the man.

Just back from our cruise to AK....CNN was having a field day on the Robertson thing....Don't know what was said here about the entire situation, but I nearly choked when Lou Dobbs nearly demanded that President Bush apologize for Robertson....

What gall that man and that network has. Bush apologizing for Robertson makes as much sense as Bush apologizing for Dean, Gore, Kennedy, McDermott, Soros and the rest of the like-minded know-not-muches.
