If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!
lol

Seriously,
can you imagine Wellstone's reaction to the dems turning his memorial into a campaign rally? The Cindy Sheehan circus taking advantage of Casey isn't any different now.

Steve, good commentary. What the media isn't reporting speaks volumes. Especially when they have nothing better to do than to poll people on whether they believe in the 1st amendment.

Cases dismissed against Tucson's Raging Grannies

by Emrys Friday, Aug 19 2005, 8:59am

Trespassing charges against 5 Raging Grannies and a handful of journalists are dropped

The City of Tucson decided to dismiss the cases against a group of women and journalists who were arrested after entering a U.S. Army recruiting office July 13th. A letter from the city attorney's office contained a motion to dismiss, citing the reason for dismissal as "unlikely to meet burden of proof at trial."

The Raging Grannies, who entered the recuiting center to enlist in the Army, have garnered national and international media attention. They even got MSNBC's camera crew for the Today Show to come and film them for a day. Calls and letters have come in from all over the country from women who want to start Granny groups after they saw them in the news.

Now that this case has been tossed aside, the Grannies are preparing plans for further actions in Tucson.
