Why the threats?

>We are just a single nuclear detonation on American soil away from a situation where any lack of enthusiasm what so ever for all things American, especially on the part of a resident alien, could be a fatal shortcoming.>

>"what are you doing here?" I suppose I could reasonably ask you the same question.>

Like humankind through ages, we are all here gathered in the cyber-cave (silicon investor) to chat with others; an activity everyone enjoys, and you don't have to be rich to enjoy it. You seem to have missed the context of the post.

>In one post you show contempt for your own fellow Indians who happen to outrank you in your home country. You besmirch your countrymen for being too "English" to suit you. >

Hey I am fine with true English or pseudo English. It suits me fine. It does not take away the fact that Indian education is an attempt to imitate how British education used to be.

>Then there are some like you, but I guess there is a pattern there as I see clearly that you have similar ideas about your own countrymen in your own country.>

The only pattern I see is your attempt to oversimplify things in your mind. Slagle, you sound like a nice fellow, but you really don't understand much about other places and people.

I have disagreements with a number my countrymen, or countrypersons. I also have disagreements with a number of my relatives...

So prehaps I don't see Arun's opinions in the same light.

And really, what are you doing here in my country? <g>
Your country? What are you doing in native Indian country?
See the word Indian? As you claim nothing has changed in your life it is true true that nothing has changed in you with all education and exposure to other people, culture and what not. Nothing will change you. You live in your own world, your own country, your own culture, your own race and what not., Unfortunately this world is made of multi-culture, multi-ethnic, multi-religious way. Probably you should question your God as to why he brought such a hardship for you.
