"Jeff Cooper, a firearms guru, says that an armed society is a polite society." TRUE. When I go visit a guy I know who repairs and sells guns and repairs other things, I am alert to showing respect (enough) for any of the men who come in to talk to him about a problem with a gun or a question about something related. WHY? Because I know every one of them is experienced with guns and either has a gun in their truck or on them. I am more "polite" there and think a bit before I say anything much more than any other place I go.
