Danville isn't alone in that, although prices seem EXCEPTIONALLY low there. When I'm looking, I spend hours on Realtor.com and the GSE websites looking for promising properties. Flyover country is littered with them. There are way more boarded up foreclosures in flyover country going for a song than there are foreclosures period in the bubble markets. In the bubble areas, they seem to price in the repairs you'll do on a foreclosure before they are done, which certainly kills my enthusiasm!
