I don't think you understand what I am saying. It is possible that Doug Thompson's account could be true, and it is possible that it is not. It is just idle chatter, either way. That is why Oral calling Coug's post hysterical seemed fairly tame. At the same time, at least Doug Thompson is reporting SOMETHING, and I have not seen any reports by journalists recently about how healthy and happy Bush is. Maybe the mainstream press will pick this up and we will all find out the truth someday. This has absolutely nothing to do with Harry Truman and Nagasaki. The Japanese author wrote a scholarly work using analysis of communications between all the parties made on a timeline. I think it is unfair to scholarship in general to decide that he could not possibly be correct in his thesis that Truman ordered the second bomb dropped with the motive of creating America as a superpower after World War II. I think Dithers give Truman less credit than he deserves for complex thinking, etc.
