THE CABIN

He stood looking at his cabin. The saddle notches, the clay and the moss chinking. He watched the smoke as it spiralled from his chimney. His wife and daughters were in there.

Smoke, smoke, smoke. The cabin had to be there. He fell to his knees in the fire.
