I now understand from BioDiesel forums that this all-in-one BioDiesel system is very overpriced. Many people also questioned the safety of it, since it uses a platic barrel as a reaction tank. All I can say is that it is good for people who are amatures and want to take a shot at making BioDiesel for themselves. It is very overpriced for what you get, but it has all the parts and the instructions for making BioDiesel.

As you said, true BioDiesel tinkerers and enthusaists can easily put together their own little BioDiesel production unit. A lot of people have mentioned that using old water heaters for a reaction tank is a good route, since it's made out of metal and can be had for free.
