Wrong. I would love it if Iraq were pacified, but it's already a failure. Staying the course simply means continuing down the failed path where we create more terrorists than we can destroy. The best we can hope for is a modest failure rather than total calamity.

Families of servicemen who back Bush on this war are either ignorant, overly optimistic or loyal to a fault. Cindy Sheehan is actually asking the right question - WHAT IS THE NOBLE CAUSE HERE? There could have been one if Bush had waited and planned carefully using lots of diplomacy, but due to his pig-headed unilateralism and dishonesty we're screwed in Iraq.
