Once they get used to make money in the easy way, they won’t stop!! This is what I call sabotage the nations economy. To illustrate I use the case of stateowned enterprises in telecoms. They started selling telephone lines BEFORE they installed them. This was supposed to self-finance the expansion of the iinfrastructure. They discovered that if they invested that cash, raised from selling telephone lines before installing, in the market, it was better than providing telephone services. But they were a monopoly and customers could not go anywhere else. The less they invested in the telecoms infrastructure, the more money they could ask for the promise of a telephone line in the future. The infrastructure became more and more dilapidated and only recovered when the industry became de-regulated and privatization came. China is just now creating the vultures that will eat its liver. The oil industry is discovering that the less they produce, the more money they can make because the consumer can’t go anyhwre else. There is a lot going on right now: Transportation companies, the industry, construction, all those buy in bulk. Government has to be supplied and happy. The rest? The state-owned enterprises screw them under broad day light. Black market starts. The friends and relatives of the employees of the state-owned enterprise are the first ones to engage on black market of fuel… Energy is made visible to the public as a very strategic industry and no foreigners could invest it. Employees of stateowned enterprises are paid much above market… The rest is history. And all of it negative. Pretty soon the small villages that are coming on stream no longer can compete. China as an industrial place starts to suffer and industries that depend on transport will slowly start losing competitiveness. The masses come to the street and revolt. Everything that is negative starts appearing. Tell the Chinese man: Sell the fucking CNOOC. Sell the rotten China National Petroleum. Hang the worms that control them, just do something. Don’t let them destroy China!!! Petrobras is sabotaging Brazil’s economy for half a century and there is no way they can get rid of the blood suckimg useless quasi-monopoly.
