Manufacturing has become more energy efficient over time as energy prices have risen. This is entirely normal and will continue to be true, even though Victorian Era engineers remain skeptical. You believe there is a connection between this observation and the special revelation Grace received while in a psychotic state - namely her claim that the US manufactures 12 times as much as it did in 1945 - a time when the United States supplied virtually all manufactured goods for the entire global Allied War effort. I do not believe there is any connection between hallucinations and energy efficiency. It would seem obvious to me, that they are very different subjects. It should come as no surprise that there is no real world evidence which even remotely supports her preposterous claim - and every evidence which rebukes her imaginary numbers. When asked to produce evidence to support her odd claim, she has of course been incapable of finding even the tiniest shred. Indeed, "special revelations" during hallucinatory states are strictly a matter of faith for both the mad-prophetess and her followers. You have every right to believe in the gods and prophets of your choice, even though your belief system may contradict reality at every turn. But economics does not mix well with a theocracy where fervent belief and imaginary numbers replace objective reality. .
