I think myself when they covered their nakedness that would have been an attempt to repent, and when they hid from God in the Garden they were ashamed of their actions. I see it this way: Lots wife looking back in a way she was looking back at her former way of life and any in Christ cannot look back at their former way of life. If you do you will be lost and turned into the pillar of salt. No doubt Eve looked back when cast out of the garden, but it was a different way of life she was considering and I think we are to look ahead in the same way that Eve must have looked back.... Perhaps we are on the other side of eternity from her and actually looking in the same direction.! Gregor.
