Just found my way here sorta by accident by way of Sioux's banning. You seem to be all wound up in this banning business. You know, how someone else banning someone you happen to agree with is somehow an act of cowardice-per your header. The whole idea of a moderated thread strikes me as a simple act of being selective about the folks we like to hang out with, like it was your living room or something, but with a(SI) screen door that can't be locked. Know what I mean? So what's the big deal about banning? If someone came into your living room while you're sitting around jawing with your pals and started disrupting your pleasantries, you'd simply show them the door, wouldn't you? To say that has something to do with denying some truth is rather presumptuous. It really has very little to do with truth. More about what you happen to believe at the moment. But you appear to have taken the rationale for banning to a creative new level, citing the material in a personal profile as the offense...kinda like suggesting someone is an enemy of the state according to the books they check out from a library rather than for anything they actually said or did. Like banning someone from your living room for something they thought, or said elsewhere. And btw, what is a "respected person?" --respected by whom? Instead of sitting there calling the kettle black, why not just own up to the facts and say "someone I respect?" And if by "respected person" you mean the president, check the polls. You are in the minority. Now ban me. Please.
