Yes, the population of Northern Arkansas is growing. We decided against FL because of the hurricanes. We've been here about a year. Though no Valhalla, at least I can fish from a boat all winter.

If the storm damages much infrastructure, rationing or $10/gallon seem likely. Obvious: that will hurt a lot of folks. ST, only the Canadian positions seem safe.
