I think presenting our troops as brainwashed is prejudicial, inaccurate, and insulting to them. A number of people who've been through military training have posted on this thread saying so.

It's possible for people with presuppositions to describe anything involving education and training, including our educational system, as "brain-washing" but simply calling it that doesn't make it so.
