That's cool.

I am figuring on a recommenced rise (and fall in gold price) over the next few months before the downward trend starts again. I expect that will be when the Fed stops raising interest rates.

But only thing I did about that was not to buy more Aussie Dollars. So I am losing in USD terms from having money tied up in AUD assets.

This Katrina is scary. Cat 5 heading straight for New Orleans. This is the ultimate test of whether it can stay above water. Another big hit to the oil industry too, though more of the servicing is based in Texas I guess.
