I received a special revelation that US manufacturing output has declined by 95% since 1945. Like Grace I have no reference for this, since I too received this number during a trance-like state. But in the pig-woman venacular of Grace, "if you're too stupid not to believe me, I can't spell it out for you." My number might be a little low, but it sounds about right given the dramatic amount of off-shoring we have experienced. Now, you are faced with a crisis of faith.
