Sharpton can be very effective, though he has no chance whatsoever to get elected. Some are making fun of him joining the peace-makers, but remember, blacks do have a big stake in this war and should join with Sheehan. Unemployed black youths make up much of the newly-recruited front line "cannon fodder" in Iraq. They are paying the price and will continue to. So Sharpton is representing his concern for his people by voicing his opinions. My point is, don't underestimate Sharpton. His one-liners often hit the mark and sting.
