Code Pink's signs look pretty accurate. I looked at a few. "Die for Halliburton" is one which we all ought to listen to. Halliburton and Cheney were driving forces behind the lies and reckless rush to war ion Iraq. They are profiting mightily (and gouging and over-charging) while the rest of us pay, especially the troops.

We all support the troops 100%, maybe Code Pink people do too (whoever they are) but the point is that it's Bush's war which is killing the troops, and his mismanagement of that war. Anyone protesting the war is trying to save lives.

Many troops may disagrtee, but so what? They work for us and we need them alive, not dead. Also, the military doesn't usually attract peace-marcher types. Soldiers usually like warfare and don't usually question orders, no matter how unfair or wrong-headed those orders might be.
