Hurricane Katrina is now a Category 5 hurricane -- top winds are 175 mph. The pressure has dropped to 902 mb. This pressure reading is the 4th lowest on record in the Atlantic Basin.

Not looking good. Hurricane force winds now extend out 90 miles from the center.........its a monster of a storm.

Bush already has declared state of emergency in LA and ALA. New Orleans is in big trouble.
