Yeah, I have been on the Fringe of 3 Hurricanes now in less then a year. Lost a stationary awning (value $2,700) not covered by insurance due to copay, a tree smashing up to my front door causing no damage but us to chop our way out of the house and this last time no damage. BUT, in each case the cleanup has been a PIA and during the second one I hurt my back and landed in Rehabilitation for 6 months. However, we have a power station about 1/2 mile from our house and underground utilities from there to our home so we never lost our electricity. That in humid, hot S. Fla. is something to give praise for. All in all, I think I have been very fortunate. jdn
