Vietnam should have taught you something, my boy. Don't lie to fabricate reason to invade countries halfway around the world when they are no real threat and you're not sure why you're there, especially when you can't tell friend from foe and it's 120 degrees in the shade.

Also once you realize you're in a quagmire, don't dig in deeper, get out. Cut your losses fast. Wouldn't it have been great if we had "cut and ran" in 1968 instead of 1973?
