I'm not saying to keep all emotion out of your camp! I think the anti-war movement can drum up plenty of passion and energy without symbolically using little white crosses with the names of soldiers on them whose families do not agree with their cause. I think that is a kind of theft. I think it is counterproductive, because it polarizes people who might have eventually come over to the position the anti-war people have if given enough time. I think the main reason the Democrats lost the last election (if indeed they did actually lose it) is because there is a serious lack of dynamic, charismatic leaders in the Democratic party. Also, the campaign tactics of the Bushies are absolutely ruthless.
