An interesting and stimulating experience to have under one's belt. But that's only when you're young and strong and lucky enough to survive to reflect on it. I'm more circumspect about them now

I'll always enjoy "interesting and stimulating experiences" but only those that afford a reasonable chance of survival, being a bit older and a tad more circumspect myself these days. :-)

As a kid growing up on the Oregon coast, my friends and I eagerly anticipated strong winter storms. We'd go down to the beach at night and build driftwood bonfires and party away as the wind howled. I kinda miss that..
