Cheney told us the insurgency was in its its last throes. What a liar. That man has absolutely no ethics when it comes to lying to the American people. He's probably also at the center of the gas gouging conspiracies and the Halliburton ripoffs in Iraq. Can you believe some Repubs want Cheney to run for prez in 2008? That whole party seems polluted by corruption.

Americans are saying loud and clear that, while they don't favor an immediate and complete withdrawal from Iraq -- that position was embraced by only about a third of respondents -- they are fed up with the lack of a clear policy objective, let alone any sense that the objective is being met.
